SONY PLANNING DARK, VIKING-INSPIRED, SANTA ORIGINS MOVIE WINTER KNIGHT

Based on L. Frank Baum‘s The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus (1902)

Sony is planning to go for a dark, Viking inspired film.

Recent reports tell us that. But are we ready for that.

Would they take the history aspects of the book and the Vikings seriously?

The book hasn’t got Vikings in them so how could they possibly mix these two.

Well you take Con-Tiki directors duo Ronning and Sandberg and mix them with Marc Platt and Lawrence Grey as producers. That is kind of mixing Vikings with Pirates. You include Sony and you get an adoption of a book with non-existing Vikings and a Santa Claus what kind of combination would that be?

Time will tell and if I will watch it maybe I am not convinced yet.
